T
he Harley-Davidson Pan America is a breakthrough in the world of adventure bikes, but the team at Powerbrick went even further. They have created a custom bike that combines the power of the ADV segment with the visual aggression of a streetfighter, while retaining the recognisable DNA of Harley-Davidson. This is not just a motorcycle — it is a visual statement, a technological platform and an example of customisation that balances wildness and functionality.

Design: Industrial aesthetics in cyberpunk style

At first glance, it becomes clear that the custom Pan America is no longer about typical ADV aesthetics. Powerbrick has completely changed the visual narrative, giving the motorcycle a rugged, mechanically brutal look reminiscent of techno art from the future. Instead of classic plastic fairings, there is a skeletal structure with an open front, no windscreen, and an aggressive LED module.

Harley-Davidson Pan America front end kit

It's completely plug-and-play and will clean up the entire front end of your Pan America! This kit will remove your windscreen and all related accessories and plastic covers for a sleek look.

The original front subframe has been replaced, but the original steering controls, headlight, speedometer, fairing, brake line and clutch line have been retained. The speedometer is hidden inside the front fairing, so it is only visible to the driver.

The custom kit includes:

  • ▸ 5-piece stainless steel bracket with matte black powder coating and integrated mount for original speedometer and original headlight
  • ▸ LSL X02 bar made of aircraft-grade aluminium, anodised in matt black
  • ▸ 4-section aluminium risers, also anodised in matt black
  • ▸ 14-piece stainless steel bolt set

The headlight has been replaced with a Powerbrick Signature LED, which is mounted directly on the fork. This element not only enhances the futuristic look, but also improves visibility in the dark. The entire visual design of the motorcycle — from the paintwork to the decorative elements — emphasises a raw, techno-industrial approach that completely contrasts this custom bike with the traditional Pan America.

Detailed specification of the rear section of the Harley-Davidson Pan America

The entire 7-piece subframe is made from a solid piece of aircraft-grade aluminium and has a matte black anodised finish. All of the manufacturer's electrical components can be serviced thanks to a well-designed integrated compartment. The ABS pump has been moved to a more convenient location and can be connected using a hydraulic upgrade kit developed by Powerbrick engineers in close collaboration with Venhill Racing.

Full list of rear components:

  • ▸ 7-piece aircraft-grade aluminium parts, anodised in matt black
  • ▸ 32-piece stainless steel bolt set
  • ▸ 2-piece stainless steel subframe side covers
  • ▸ Aluminium ECU tray
  • ▸ 2-piece integrated LED indicators with original connectors for direct mounting
  • ▸ Stainless steel international licence plate holder with integrated KOSO licence plate light and original connector for direct mounting
  • ▸ Cast rear cover made of Harley-Davidson Vivid Black ABS plastic
  • ▸ 42-piece complete set of carbon hydraulic brake lines from Venhill Racing
  • ▸ Stainless steel seat with integrated threaded rivets
  • ▸ Additional INOX exhaust system with cut edges and connecting pipe that attaches to the original Pan America exhaust manifolds.
  • ▸ The exhaust system comes with single (Pan America RA1250 and RA1250S) or twin Grand Prix silencers (Pan America RA1250S and RA1250ST - RA1250 WITHOUT ).

Chassis: balance between rigidity and adaptability

Powerbrick kept the Harley-Davidson aluminium modular frame, which is already quite sturdy and lightweight. However, for the sake of visual purity and more radical geometry, they completely redesigned the rear end. The rear subframe is now shorter, with a redesigned flat tracker-style seat that gives the bike a more compact, aggressive profile.

The suspension retains its functionality: an electronically controlled front and rear system that adapts to the surface and load. But thanks to a new lower centre of gravity and a revised seat position, the bike handles more precisely in corners and provides better feedback on asphalt roads.

Harley-Davidson Pan America Rotobox carbon wheels

Rotobox Bullet carbon wheel set for Harley-Davidson Pan America. These wheels not only look good, they are built exclusively for performance!

Engine: Power that works for style and speed

At the heart of the custom bike is Harley-Davidson's signature Revolution Max 1250 engine. It is a liquid-cooled V-Twin with a displacement of 1252 cm³, which produces about 150 hp in the standard version. In the custom version, the engine has been fitted with a new Powerbrick short exhaust system, which not only reduces weight but also adds a deep, muffled sound — a true streetfighter voice.

The engine retains all the advantages of the stock version: variable valve timing (VVT), linear acceleration, high low-end torque and adaptive throttle response. Thanks to the shorter shape of the motorcycle, the feeling of dynamics is even more pronounced: acceleration seems sharper and handling more precise.

Harley-Davidson Pan America Revolution Max radiator hose upgrade

These high-performance hoses replace standard factory rubber hoses. Silicone hoses are ideal for the Harley-Davidson Revolution Max engine (used in the RH1250S Sportster S and RA1250(S) Pan America) and significantly improve the performance of your cooling system with minimal flow resistance.

The main hose has a heat-reflective layer applied at the point closest to the exhaust manifold to prevent heat transfer from the exhaust system to the cooling system.

Handcrafted in the UK and comes with a lifetime warranty. Available in gloss black, classic (matte) black and Harley-Davidson orange. All kits come with new stainless steel clamps.

Specification Details
Engine Layout 60° V-twin with DOHC
Displacement 1,252cc (76.4 cu in)
Cooling System Liquid-cooled with oil cooler
Compression Ratio 13:1
Peak Power 150 hp @ 9,000 rpm
Peak Torque 95 lb-ft @ 6,750 rpm

Electronics: Full control in high-tech style

Despite its radical appearance, the Powerbrick custom does not sacrifice modern electronic systems. The motorcycle retains Harley-Davidson's signature electronic platform, including:

  • ▸ adaptive lighting,
  • ▸ traction control,
  • ▸ ABS on turns,
  • ▸ several driving modes,
  • ▸ Bluetooth interface with TFT display.

In addition, suspension control, as in the base model, is automatic. The system analyses road conditions and adjusts stiffness in real time, ensuring maximum stability when cornering and braking. This makes this custom bike not only attractive, but also fully functional for everyday use.

Conclusion: Mr America, whom you have not yet seen

The Custom H-D Pan America by Powerbrick is an example of how modern Harley-Davidson technology can be adapted to a radically new vision. The bike looks like something out of a cyberpunk film, but without losing any of its versatility, power or functionality. It changes the perception of adventure bikes, breaking stereotypes and creating new ones.

It's more than just customisation. It's a statement in metal that says, ‘Your adventure doesn't begin where the asphalt ends, but where your style begins.’

*This unique motorcycle is available in Europe, and interested buyers can purchase it through the Harley-Davidson dealership in Rotterdam. It is a rather expensive investment.
